Yen Shen Great elder of the gods sages hall and a thousand years old god. 



He controls everything that happens in the world while sitting inside the gods' domain but  he holds no real political power among the gods. It was decreed by Tian that only those who held the office of great gods had the rights to govern the affairs of the gods. 

Shen Yen was only responsible for laying down punishments to the gods who had committed crimes, nothing more. 

As the elder of the sage hall he command the most powerful warriors of the gods, the 5 sage kings.
